Guan Eng: Show proof if Arul was paid RM 10 mil yearly before joining 1MDB

Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng said former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak should prove if 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) chief executive officer Arul Kanda Kandasamy earned a high salary before joining 1MDB. Previously, Najib said Arul took a huge pay cut after joining 1MDB. Arul Kanda was offered RM5 million as salary for six months from January to June 2018 when helming the sovereign fund. Lim said his ministry will file a civil suit to claim the RM2.5 million already paid to Arul Kanda.
