Deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Mazlan Mansor on Thursday said that the police are still investigating the case whereby a group had brought back the ashes belonging to Chin Peng who had been living in exile in Thailand, despite a government ruling that his remains could not be sent back to Malaysia.
