Thirty medical personnel have contracted Covid-19 from their patients becase they were not aware the patients they were checking had the virus.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah on Tuesday said that and urged healthcare workers to take necessary precautions such as wearing protective gear when treating ILI and SARI patients admitted to intensive care units or when screening them at the clinics or hospitals.
