Last minute closure of KL wholesale market leaves traders in a lurch

The last-minute extended closure of the Kuala Lumpur wholesale market in Selayang has left some traders in a lurch as they have to return or stop supplies from being delivered to the market.

Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri on Tuesday (April 21) said the decision to temporarily close the market was due to the high number of workers, who also lived in areas under the EMCO, must undergo screening.
