Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam said US economic sanctions against her will be an “inconvenience” to her personally, but nothing she will take to heart. Lam spoke at a press conference on August 18, 2020, regarding measures Washington imposed on her along with 10 top officials from Hong Kong as well as the Chinese mainland.
