Police halted the search and rescue operation at 7.30pm on Monday for the Mazda CX-5 SUV which plunged off the Penang Bridge early Sunday due to safety reasons. The vehicle was spotted at 4pm on the sea floor, about 15 metres away from the 34th pillar of the bridge.
