The taxi industry is joining the fight against gender-based violence by partnering with the provinces Social Development Department. According to the latest crime stats, sexual offences increased by 1.7 percent in the past financial year. The South African National Taxi Council led an awareness campaign at the Pinetown and Chatsworth Taxi rank in Durban.
