Study: Half Of Heart Attack Patients Did This Two Weeks Before The Event

New research from Denmark reveals roughly half of patients who suffer a heart attack seek medical attention within two weeks before the event itself.br According to UPI, 54 of patients who experienced 'an abrupt loss of heart function' saw their primary physician in the two weeks leading to the emergency.br Approximately 7 also sought care at a local hospital. Some patients did both.br The European Society Cardiology says out-of-hospital cardiac arrest is the third-leading cause of death worldwide.br The society estimates that on average, less than 10 of victims survive.br We show that the proportion of patients who contacted physicians and hospitals were higher every week throughout the year before their event. This may be a warning sign of those at imminent danger. Dr.
