The club revealed this week it has been forced to bow out of the league, after the impact of Covid-19 meant it failed to raise the £60,000 funding needed for its 20202021 season.br br br It is the first time in the history of the WBBL – of which Sheffield Hatters is a founding member – that the steel city team will not be competing.
