A former senior assistant secretary has been arrested for allegedly accepting bribes worth RM118mil over a contract involving a ministry that he was attached with.br br The 42-year-old, who now serves as a director of a training institute, was brought before the Magistrate's Court on Tuesday (Oct 6) and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has obtained a seven-day remand order for him.
