Although Bahrain is hot and humid in summer, there is abundant wind energy in Bahrain especially in its sea and along its coasts. The team of and some staff from Bahrain Training more...Institute went to Fasht Al-Jarim Island on 14th August 2008 to spend leisure and knowledge time. This island was inhibited by the former Minister of Housing for a long time. There was a plan to sell the island for over 700 million dollars for project Disney Land Bahrain but now the island belong to the people of Bahrain. We fixed a deserted Windmill (driving a water pump) and a disconnected solar cell.
