Covid-19: 710 new cases, 10 new fatalities, the highest death toll in a single day

Malaysia recorded 710 new Covid-19 infections on Friday (Oct 23), bringing the total in the country to 24,514 cases since the outbreak began in January.

Ten new fatalities were also reported, taking the death toll to 214. This represents the highest number of fatalities recorded in Malaysia in a single day.
