Shashwat Samudra is a business professional from Texas who has worked in various industries. Over the past five years, Shashwat has been able to own businesses in the health food and supplements industry and the dry cleaning industry. Shashwat is passionate about business and continues to learn and grow in his industry. br br Before becoming a business owner, Shashwat attended college at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. He had attended this Ivy League university for four years and completed a bachelor of science degree. His studies focused on business, real estate, and human resources. While attending the university, Shashwat spent much of his free time writing for various campus publications. He wrote for the Cornell Daily Sun and the Cornell Business Review on many various topics. Shashwat Samudra established a strong foundation of business knowledge that helped him grow quickly in his career. br br Within a year of graduating from Cornell, Shashwat became an owner and operator of a franchise. He was responsible for this health food and supplements store’s daily operations and management. Shashwat was responsible for the sales, marketing, and product pricing. His business strategies resulted in great improvement for the business, including increasing the sales and profit margins by 20 year over year. His achievements at this business caught the eye of the corporate executives of the franchise who offered Shashwat more locations to operate. br br Shashwat Samudra decided to focus on his other business venture, a business in the dry cleaning industry, which he began in 2017. With this business, Shashwat also manages daily operations. He has been able to utilize strategies such as M & A-based business growth, to help his business grow. Since its inception, Shashwat’s business has grown to two plants and three satellite locations. br br Aside from his passion for business and entrepreneurship, Shashwat has recently become interested in finance and investing. Just over two years ago, Shashwat Samudra began teaching himself about investing and managing portfolios. Now, he has holdings of over $3 million in real estate and has begun investing personal funds into the stock market. He hopes to expand his holdings into other industries and increase his portfolio by at least three times in the next five years.
