Voting for Bihar Assembly Elections for 243 constituencies has begun. Voting is being held in three phases on October 28, November 3 and November 7. This is the first assembly election to be held amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The counting of votes and results will be announced on November 10, the Election Commission said. The upcoming polls in Bihar will be conducted through Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT).
