ANF arrested Rana Sanaullah under drug possession charges on July 1, 2019. After struggling hard, Nabeela Sanaullah, wife of PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah wrote a letter to UNODC. In her letter, she requested the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime to release her husband from jail and drug possession charges. She has requested to make a commission and investigate this matter without any political grudges. According to her, this is the worst case of lawlessness in history.
