Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah said as of October this year, 1,377,862 prepaid lines were detected to have dubious registration details.br br In line with the industry regulation, Saifuddin said the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) conducts data verification audit with the National Registration Department (JPN) to check on the accuracy and validity of the records of subscribers to ensure all active numbers are properly verified.
