All independent parties in PoK called for pro-freedom rally in Muzaffarabad. Silent protests were being held in the region on October 22. Two people died and many were left injured as police lathi-charged protesters in PoK’s Muzaffarabad. A protester said, “We just wanted to put our demand before the PoK assembly. The demand of having a democratic constituent assembly. However, the police resorted to lathicharge. More than 30 people got injured. More than 10 people have been arrested.
