Zoya Akhtar turns 47 on 14th October, 2019. Zoya may be just four feature films old, but is one of the most effectual storytellers of the industry. Zoya made a huge mark in direction in 2009 with her debut film, Luck By Chance. The film was critically acclaimed but did not work well at the box-office. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara in 2011, gave Zoya a commercial hit. Dil Dhadakne Do, Zoya’s third feature-length film could not replicate the success of the previous film. But Gully Boy put her back on the hit bandwagon.
