Severe cyclonic storm Nivar is expected to make landfall along the Tamil Nadu coast and Puducherry coast on November 25. The India Meteorological Department has forecast heavy to extremely heavy rainfall over parts of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal.
