Thousands of holidaymakers are expected to flock to Durban's beaches for the festive season. The eThekwini Municipality says clean-ups have already begun, and it's hoping to achieve Blue Flag status for Durban's main beach. This is a certification by the international Foundation for Environmental Education that a beach meets its high standards.
