Its an early Christmas for Nelson Mandela Municipality Councillor, Andile Lungisa. Lungisa is expected to be released from prison and placed on parole on Tuesday. This after just 2 months of serving his three year sentence. Lungisa was found guilty of assaulting a DA councillor with a glass jug in 2016. The department of Correctional Services says Lungisa served his minimum required time and attended rehabilitation programmes.
