Beijing has lashed out at Washington over the Trump administration's latest sanctions against Chinese officials,... along with the sale of more U.S. military equipment to Taiwan.
The U.S. this week imposed sanctions against 14 Chinese officials in the standing committee of China’s legislature,... while announcing the approval of a 280 million dollar sale of advanced military communications equipment to Taiwan.
China's foreign ministry summoned Washington's top diplomat in China on Tuesday,... to express “strong indignation and condemnation.”
Beijing also warned that China will "take resolute and forceful countermeasures and defend its sovereignty, security and development interests."
