Be Not A Friend to Drunkards, Proverbs 23:20-21

Be not among drunkards or among gluttonous eaters of meat, for the drunkard and the glutton will come to poverty, and slumber will clothe them with rags. br Proverbs 23:20-21br br There are two important lessons to learn from this proverb:br 1) Cultivate healthier friendships.br 2) Avoid frequently indulging in excesses.br br Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm. br Proverbs 13:20br br Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these.
