Indonesian President Joko Widodo became the first person in the country to receive the China-made Sinovac vaccine on Wednesday (Jan 13), kicking off a nation-wide vaccination drive against Covid-19 to curb surging infections and deaths in the country worst hit by the virus in South-east Asia.
