Domestic Trade Ministry to study rationale behind cooking oil price increase

The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) will conduct studies to determine if the price increase of 5kg bottled cooking oil is reasonable.
Penang KPDNHEP director Mohd Ridzuan Ab Ghapar said officers had issued notices to producers and traders under the Price Control and Anti- Profiteering Act 2011 to obtain information for the studies.
