I was inspired by Kenny Lauderdale's thought provoking video. "Things that might be anime".... I bought this from a store called Daiso Japan. It was a Dvd story about a girl in a orphanage. I bought it because I thought it was an anime but from the look of its appearance, it seems like it would be a genre of it's own. The story had only two voice actors , one male and one female. The animation was so limited at looped a lot that it was hard to classify this as a modern anime. It looked more like an animated storybook for lack of a better term. The Dvd not only had a Japanese track ,it had a Korean,Chinese and English track. It seems like this was not fit for a modern broadcast as the production of this was so cheap. The quality of the drawings seem amateurish as well but reassured this was a Japanese production. Do you know if there is anymore content of this genre of this sort out there. And what kind of sub-genre of this anime would this fall into if you can call it that.
