The Justice for Shonisani Lethole campaign is calling for the suspension of Tembisa Hospital’s CEO and accounting officer. In a list of demands, it's also demanding that senior medical staff must face a disciplinary hearing. Shonisani Lethole died at the hospital in July last year after being admitted with breathing difficulties. The Health Ombudsman’s report on this matter revealed that Lethole did not receive food for more than 100 hours. The report recommends that action be taken against all 19 staff members implicated.
