He has also appeared in several debate shows defending Seeman's Tamil Nationalist party and its propaganda and Rajiv Gandhi had been a staunch critic of the Dravidian parties and the Central parties and had strongly pressed that Naam Tamilar Katchi would be a replacement for the decades-old Dravidian houses.
