The number of Covid-19 recoveries in the country has outpaced new cases for the ninth day straight, bringing the active cases down to 36,797, in the latest daily Covid-19 statistics for Malaysia.
In his daily Covid-19 update, Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said Malaysia has 2,936 new cases of Covid-19 on Friday, adding that in the same 24-hour span, 13 people died due to Covid-19 while 4,889 patients were discharged.
