Karunanidhi himself did not believe in his son MK Stalin, Tamil Nadu CM Edapaddi K Palaniswami said at a rally on Sunday. He went on to say that Nedunchezhiyan was expected to become the CM after the demise of DMK founder CN Annadurai in 1969 but Karunanidhi became the chief minister through "short-cut".
