A 44-year-old man has been admitted to a hospital in Victoria with blood clots, several days after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine. He has clots in his liver, spleen and gut. Dr Norman Swan says this is a specific kind of blood clotting and while unusual, it does not occur in people with general blood clotting.
