At the behest of Filmmaker K Asif, the jailer allowed Balraj Sahni to shoot while in jail. He was brought on set from jail for shooting handcuffs in hand in the morning. He would play the role of the jailer and return to prison in the evening as a prisoner. This went on for about 3 months. Perhaps this will be the only incident in the film industry where the actor is imprisoned in jail. He is brought out of the prison on a shooting set and he plays the role of the jailer. He would go back to jail as soon as the shooting was over.
