34 of COVID-19br Survivors Develop, ‘Psychiatricbr and Neurologicalbr Complications,’, Study Says.br A study published in ‘Lancet Psychiatry’ has br made an alarming discovery about COVID-19.br The study involved the health records ofbr more than 236,000 COVID-19 patients. .br Researchers discovered that 34br of COVID-19 survivors were diagnosed with abr neurological or psychological conditionbr within six months of their infection. .br Survivors were most commonlybr diagnosed with anxiety (17), followedbr closely by mood disorders (14).br Maxime Taquet, co-author of the study,br noted that the rate of diagnoses seemed to correlatebr with the severity of the COVID-19 illness. .br That rate increased progressivelybr as the severity of the Covid-19br illness increased.
