Jaylen Brown was interviewed after the Celtics’ 101-99 win vs the Knicks. Brown led the team in scoring with 32 points and it was the first 30-point, 10-rebound night of his career.
He spoke out a lot about the media and some of the comments they have been making about the team in recent weeks. "Sometimes the comments we get from you guys in the media...it makes us less open to talk. Or let things get to us that, honestly, aren't that big of a deal,” said Brown. Many have said the team has been underperforming this season and the media has been going at players at times.
Brown mentioned that he talked with Jayson Tatum after the tough loss against Philadelphia last night. "Let's just come out and play basketball and be aggressive and be the best version of ourselves,” he said. Brown and Tatum led the team in scoring against the Knicks.
