Camera and Speaker, May Be in the Works.
Bloomberg reports that tech company
Apple may be working on a
significant upgrade of its Apple TV.
The last major upgrade of the product
was released in 2016.
By adding a built-in camera,
users would be able to make
FaceTime calls through theirs TVs.
Other streaming units such as the
Amazon Fire TV Cube already
enable video chatting.
Adding a speaker would also mean
that Apple TV could act as
a kind of HomePod.
which the company announced its
larger model will be discontinued soon.
Regardless of whether the company decides it
will move forward with these changes, a new Apple TV
is expected to be announced sometime this year
