On Wednesday, Melissa Maggiore will open "The Italian Daughter," a new Italian restaurant in north Scottsdale. She said it will serve upscale Italian food. It is also an homage to her father, chef Tomaso Maggiore, who died earlier this year after a two-year battle with cancer.
