The national anthem of Mauritania (Arabic: نشيد وطني موريتاني‎), also known by its incipit "Bilada-l ubati-l hudati-l kiram" (English: Country of the Proud, Guiding Noblemen; French: Pays des fiers, nobles guides). It was composed by Rageh Daoud.brIn March 2017, following a referendum, the Mauritanian National Assembly adopted a new national anthem.
