Polling for the fifth phase of the assembly election in West Bengal started at 7 am under the Covid-19 shadow which continues to wreak havoc across the country, one year after it started to surge in India. Phase 5 of the West Bengal Assembly election will see polling for 45 seats spread across six districts today.
