Fully vaccinated airport worker contracts coronavirus in Auckland

The worker contracted the virus while being fully vaccinated but experts say that's not an uncommon outcome with most COVID-19 vaccines reporting around a 90 per cent success rate. Associate Professor Paul Griffin says it's possible to contract COVID-19 after being vaccinated, but they are 100 per cent effective at preventing progression to severe disease.
