Victoria pledges $50m for domestic manufacturing facility

A manufacturing facility for mRNA vaccines including the Pfizer and Moderna shots is set for Australia after the Victorian government committed $50m to kickstart the project. The Peter Doherty Institute for infection and immunity will be involved in the project and professor Damian Purcell says it will help store up future supplies.
