The Slider is a device invented by retired consultant knee surgeon Shameem Sampath, from Lytham in Lancashire with help from UCLan. It uses AI to help patients recover from a knee or hip replacement. It links to their smartphone and uses games to get them to move their leg correctly during physiotherapy.
