This remodeling project was completed in 2005. This home was a neat home built in the 1940s. It has a high pitched roof and a large front porch. At some point the home was turned into a duplex and then later converted back into a single family residence. We mainly did a cosmetic remodel of this property. It was in surprisingly good structural shape. It had hardwood siding that went all the way to the ground and we feared it would have termites but none were found. We have discovered termites prefer soft newer pine over the old hardwood in these older houses. With this home we just painted the inside and out and replaced the flooring.
