OUTA opposses proposed electricity levy

The Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse says proposed electricity levies by the City of Johannesburg are not feasible. It says the city has failed to conduct proper public oversight. The City is proposing a R200 levy for a prepaid residential meter and R400 for businesses. OUTA warns this will severely affect small businesses.
