The youngest state in India, Telangana, will be celebrating its seventh anniversary on June 2. It was formed as the 29th state of India on June 2, 2014. The event is celebrated as Telangana Formation Day or simply Telangana Day. On this special day, people exchange greetings with each other remembering all those who sacrificed their lives for Telangana. They also wish and pray to take the state to newer heights.
