The Uttar Pradesh government recently named Mukul Goel, a 1987-batch IPS officer as the new Director-General of Police. He replaced Hitesh Chandra Awasthi who retired from service on June 30. The new Director-General of Police of Uttar Pradesh had a special conversation with Aaj Tak. During the conversation, DGP Goel discussed the infrastructure and technology needed to fight the crime.
