वैसे तो भारत में शादी को लेकर कई रस्मों-रिवाज है, लेकिन सारे विधि-विधान दूल्हा-दुल्हन को ही निभाने होते हैं। मगर देश में एक ऐसी भी जगह है जहां शादी के दिन दूल्हा घर पर ही कैद रहता है और दुल्हन को ब्याहने उसकी बहन जाती है। ये बात सुनने में भले ही अजीब लगे, लेकिन ये सच है। ऐसी अनोखी परंपरा गुजरात के छोटा उदयपुर के तीन गांवों सुरखेड़ा, नदासा और अंबल गांव में निभाई जाती है।

But there is such a place in the country where the bridegroom is imprisoned at home on the day of marriage and his sister goes to marry the bride. This may sound strange to hear, but it is true.
