Sydney outbreak described as a 'national emergency'

The NSW Chief Health Officer, Kerry Chant, says the growing number of coronavirus cases in Sydney is a national emergency. 136 new cases have been recorded overnight with up to 70 people infectious in the community. Doctor Chant wants a rethink of the vaccine strategy to be focused on western and south-western Sydney.
