In an interview run on India Today TV, fugitive diamantaire Mehul Choksi has claimed that he was kidnapped from the house of Barbara Jarabica, his close acquaintance, in Antigua. Choksi alleged that he was shoved on a boat to Dominica. He also claimed that he was overpowered, beaten and tortured by his kidnappers.
Meanwhile, India commemorates the 22nd Kargil Vijay Diwas on Monday as 22 years ago Indian Army ensured a victory against Pakistani Army. Tributes poured in from across the nation to salute bravehearts who fought and sacrificed their lives for the country.
