India's Dutee Chand has secured seventh place in the women's 100m sprint. While Dutee finished her race in 11.54 seconds, her heat number one Shelly-Ann Fraser-Price qualified with 10.84. Shelly-Ann was about 0.148 seconds short of Fraser-Price in the race. Before this Olympics, a lot was expected from Dutee Chand, but she could not succeed in doing so and is now out of this race. This duti is now out of this race.

महिला 100 मीटर स्प्रिंट में भारत की दुती चंद को सातवाँ स्थान प्राप्त हुआ है। दुती ने अपनी दौड़ 11.54 सेकंड्स में ख़तम की तो वही उनकी हीट की नंबर वन खिलाड़ी रही शैली-एन फ्रासेर-प्राइस ने 10.84 के साथ क्वालीफाई कर लिया है। इस दौड़ में शैली-एन फ्रासेर-प्राइस से करीब 0.148 सेकंड कम रही। इस ओलंपिक्स से पहले दुती चंद से मेडल की काफी उम्मीद की जा रही थी मगर वो ऐसा करने में कामयाब नहीं हो पायी और अब इस दौड़ से बाहर हो गई है। इसी दुती अब इस दौड़ से बाहर हो गई है।
