India's badminton star Sindhu had to face defeat in the semi-finals held on Saturday. Sindhu was up against world number one shuttler Tai Tzu Ying of Chinese Taipei, who defeated Sindhu 21-18, 21-12 in straight sets. Sindhu can still bring medal, she can still win bronze medal. Sindhu has lost her first match in the Olympics. It seemed that Sindhu would win today but after falling 11-8 in the first set, the world number one made a strong comeback and finally won the match. Sindhu is now going to be with Chinese shuttler Hee Bingjao on August 1 for the bronze medal.
